What is Edumin?
Edumin is a Zimbabwean educational platform that connects students, teachers, parents, university students, and lecturers. It provides tools for lessons, quizzes, assignments, progress tracking, and more — accessible via web and Android app.
How do I create an account?
Click 'Get Started' on any page, choose your role (Student, Teacher, Parent, University Student, or Lecturer), fill in your details, and submit. Your account is created instantly.
Is Edumin free to use?
New students and university students receive a 7-day free trial with access to all premium features. After the trial, a subscription is required. Teachers, parents, and lecturers have their own access tiers.
What devices can I use Edumin on?
Edumin works on any modern web browser. There is also a dedicated Android app available for download from our website for the full mobile experience.
Accounts & Login
How do I reset my password?
Go to the login page and click 'Forgot password?'. Enter your registered email address and we'll send you a password reset link. Check your spam folder if you don't see the email within a few minutes.
Can I change my email address?
You can update your profile information from your account settings after logging in. For email changes, please contact our support team at support@edumin.co.zw.
My account has been suspended — what do I do?
Account suspensions are issued for violations of our Terms of Service. Contact us at support@edumin.co.zw with your account details and we'll review your case.
Can I have multiple roles on one account?
Each account is tied to a single role. If you need access as both a teacher and a parent, for example, you would need two separate accounts with different email addresses.
Students
How do I enrol in a lesson or subject?
From your Student Dashboard, go to 'Lessons' and browse available subjects. Click 'Request to Join' on any lesson — your teacher will receive the request and can approve it.
How do I take a quiz?
Assigned quizzes appear in the 'Quizzes' section of your dashboard. Click on a quiz to start it. Your results and score will be available once you submit.
Where can I see my progress?
Your progress is tracked automatically. Go to 'Progress' in your dashboard to see your performance across subjects, assignment scores, and quiz results.
What happens after my free trial ends?
You will be prompted to subscribe to continue accessing premium features. You can view subscription plans from your dashboard under 'Subscription'.
Parents
How do I link my child to my parent account?
After logging into your Parent Dashboard, go to 'Link Child' and enter your child's student ID or registered email. Your child will receive a request to approve the link.
What can I see on the Parent Dashboard?
Once linked, you can view your child's progress, quiz results, assignment submissions, and enrolled lessons in real time.
Can I link more than one child?
Yes. You can link multiple children to a single parent account. Each child manages their own approval of the parent link request.
Teachers
How do I create a lesson?
From the Teacher Dashboard, go to 'Lessons' and click 'Create Lesson'. Fill in the subject, level, grade, and lesson content, then publish it to make it available to students.
How do I create and assign a quiz?
Go to 'Quizzes' in your Teacher Dashboard and click 'Create Quiz'. Add your questions, set a time limit if desired, then assign it to one or more of your classes.
How do I approve student enrolment requests?
Enrolment requests appear in the 'Enrollments' section of your Teacher Dashboard. You can approve or decline each request individually.
Can I upload resources for students?
Yes. You can upload PDFs, documents, and other resources from the 'Resources' section of your dashboard and attach them to specific lessons.
Subscriptions & Billing
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept payments via EcoCash, OneMoney, and bank transfers. Additional payment methods may be available — check the subscription page for the latest options.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings under 'Subscription'. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Are subscription fees refundable?
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable unless stated otherwise. If you believe there has been a billing error, please contact support@edumin.co.zw.
Will I be notified before my subscription renews?
Yes. We send a reminder email before your subscription renewal date so you can manage or cancel your plan if needed.
