Your information is used to: • Create and manage your Edumin account • Deliver personalised lessons, quizzes, and learning resources • Track and display your academic progress • Allow parents to monitor their children's learning • Send important service notifications (email or SMS) • Improve and develop our platform features
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with: • Teachers and school administrators linked to your account • Parents who have been approved as guardians within the platform • Service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g. Firebase/Google) under strict confidentiality agreements • Law enforcement where required by Zimbabwean law
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), Firebase Authentication for secure sign-in, and strict Firestore security rules that limit data access to authorised users only. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
5. Children's Privacy
Edumin is designed for learners including those under 18. For students under 13, parental or guardian consent is required. Parents may request access to, or deletion of, their child's data at any time by contacting us.
