Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Edumin platform (edumin.co.zw or the Edumin mobile app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all users including students, teachers, parents, university students, and lecturers.

2. Account Registration

To access most features of Edumin, you must create an account. You agree to: • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration • Maintain the security of your password and account • Notify us immediately at support@edumin.co.zw of any unauthorised account access • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 should register with parental consent.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: • Share your account credentials with others • Upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or harassing • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform • Use the platform to distribute spam or malware • Copy, reproduce, or redistribute Edumin content without written permission • Impersonate any person or entity on the platform

4. Educational Content

Content on Edumin — including lessons, quizzes, resources, and assignments — is provided for educational purposes. Teachers and lecturers are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of content they upload. Edumin reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is otherwise inappropriate.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of Edumin require a paid subscription. By subscribing: • You authorise us to charge the applicable fees via the payment method you provide • Subscription fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated • We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice • Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date New users receive a 7-day free trial with access to all features.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, and software on the Edumin platform are the intellectual property of Edumin or its content partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent. Teachers retain ownership of educational materials they create, but grant Edumin a licence to host and display that content on the platform.

7. Privacy

Your use of Edumin is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy at edumin.co.zw/privacy to understand our practices.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or legitimate business purposes.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Edumin is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. We are not responsible for any content posted by users.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Zimbabwean law, Edumin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Zimbabwe. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email and by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
